Totara, a true black proven breeder, is our senior herdsire. Totara’s parents are Chilean imports. His mother is True Black and his father is Medium Silver Gray. This superb sire is compact and structurally sound in all areas of confirmation. He does not fade due to sun exposure. A histogram completed in 2005 shows his fiber at: AFD 25.3, SD 5.9, CV 23.3 and %+30 15.3. Totara’s first year of breeding was 2005 and he successfully sired 11 healthy crias to date half of which are true black.
