Chip is light brown with a dark face exhibiting his father Totara's true Black traits. He is literally, a "chip off the old block." This strikingly handsome young male should be able to produce some good color when he matures. Structurally sound at birth, we look forward to him becoming a very productive herdsire.
**Chip was screened on 3/11/09 using "The Alpaca Evaluation: A Guide for Owners and Breeders." This system is similar to the 1998 ARI screening forms and is an objective way to evaluate the animals in your herd. The results of his 6 page evaluation are available upon request.
