This gorgeous patterened female was a very welcome sight to see when she was born. Her mom, Louise went into labor early in the morning but then stopped having contractions. I called our vet who arrived shortly. By the time he attempted to deliver Gracie, she had been in utero for over 2 hours. Since we had lost 2 crias earlier in the spring, I was prepared for the worst. When he said, "the baby's alive" I was so relieved! She was delivered without incident and weighed a healthy 21 pounds. She truly was and still is "amazing." |
